PreMedley’s mission is to be the most effective and affordable premed community. We know firsthand that the medical school admissions process can be overwhelming and isolating.
So, we created a platform where hundreds of premeds support each other through every step of the med school application process – from studying for the MCAT, to crafting a strong application, to preparing for interviews, and ultimately getting accepted.

Founder & CEO
Evan earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Maryland. Before pursuing a career in medicine, he worked in the corporate world for three years as an engineer and project manager.
He scored a 517 on his MCAT (94th percentile rank), a 23-point increase from his diagnostic MCAT score of 494. He earned multiple acceptances and is currently in his second year of medical school.
Through his own experience studying for the MCAT and navigating the med school admissions journey, he found that the process was overwhelming, stressful, and expensive. Reflecting on his journey, Evan was determined to create the resource that he wished he had as a premed. Through PreMedley, Evan and his team have helped thousands of premeds achieve their goals through affordable tutoring, application guidance, and a supportive, positive community.
Chief Operating Officer
As COO of PreMedley, Lauryn focuses on engaging members, expanding the community, and managing business operations.
Prior to joining PreMedley, Lauryn worked in the corporate communications and public relations industry for nearly a decade. In this capacity, Lauryn partnered with executives at leading healthcare and pharmaceutical companies on a wide range of efforts, including corporate positioning, executive and employee communications, change management, and product communications.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in New York.
As part of PreMedley’s sibling-duo leadership team, Lauryn is passionate about helping to build the most effective, supportive, and affordable community to help as many premeds as possible.
After joining PreMedley as a premed student, Ally earned a 516 on her MCAT, a 20-point improvement from her initial score of 496. She holds a degree in biochemistry from Mount Saint Mary’s University Los Angeles and has experience teaching and mentoring students. After graduating, Ally conducted HIV research at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine for two years. She received acceptances at many top medical schools in the U.S., and is currently a first-year medical student at Stanford University’s Medical Scientist Training Program.
Cadi earned a perfect score of 132 on the CARS section of the MCAT, and now helps PreMedley students learn strategies and tips to master the CARS section. Cadi is currently working as a research assistant at Harvard Medical School during her gap year.
Dionna brings a faculty perspective on MD and MD/PhD admissions, specializing in mentorship, personal statement and secondary application edits, interview prep, and guidance on gap years, post-bacc programs, and research pathways to med school. As an Associate Professor at Emory University’s School of Medicine, she has served on admissions committees and interviewed countless MD/PhD and PhD applicants. Dionna also evaluates and mentors future med students through Emory’s post-baccalaureate Research Education Program.
CJ was one of our original PreMedley members, and increased his MCAT score by 15 points. He is now in his first year of medical school and pays it forward to our community with helpful guidance on the medical school application process. CJ excels at keeping everyone motivated with positivity, encouragement, and helpful tips to navigate the journey.
Erik scored a 519 on the MCAT and tutors primarily for the Psych/Soc section. A Canadian resident, Erik is interested in psychiatry and enjoys all things clinical, education, and research. He aspires to fundamentally change the way mental illness is diagnosed and treated by collaborating with like-minded people.
A first-generation college graduate, John earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside. During his medical school application cycle, John received acceptances to 10 programs, and is currently a first-year student at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is passionate about helping students craft applications that stand out, even if they have MCAT scores or GPAs that may be considered below-average.
Matan is currently in his first year of medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He achieved MCAT scores of 130 in Chemistry/Physics, 132 in Bio/Biochem, and 131 in Psych/Soc, and now tutors anatomy, physiology and organic chemistry for PreMedley. Matan approaches concepts and explanations in ways that are easy to understand, and shares helpful tips for content review and study strategies.
While studying for the MCAT, Mya increased her score by 23 points and was accepted to her first choice of Canadian medical schools after her third year of undergrad. Mya’s sessions focus on Bio/Biochem and Chem/Phys strategy, content integration, and overcoming MCAT anxiety. She specializes in helping students bridge knowledge gaps, even the ones we might not realize we have. Mya also guides Canadian applicants regarding the Canadian medical school application process.
Nishita scored a 522 on the MCAT, after starting from a 511 diagnostic score. She tutors for the Chemistry and Physics section of the MCAT, and is adept at breaking down challenging concepts into simpler equations and thought processes. A senior at Rice University, Nishita has received multiple medical school acceptances and plans to attend medical school in fall 2025.
Philip achieved a 96th percentile score in the Chemistry and Physics section of the MCAT. His tutoring approach is highly personalized and emphasizes strategic learning with a mix of practice questions, tips, and techniques to bridge content gaps and improve problem-solving skills. Beyond his involvement with PreMedley, he serves as a student instructor for Organic Chemistry I and II, where he helps guide many premed students through their coursework and preparation for medical school.
Ritika graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2022 and currently works as a clinical researcher in the Hematology/Emergency Medicine department. After acing her MCAT– including a perfect score of 132 in the Bio/Biochem section– Ritika began tutoring for PreMedley. Ritika tailors her teaching strategies to meet students’ specific needs, including methods to help them better recall content.
Sai is a first-year medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. During his time as an undergraduate at Florida International University, Sai worked with hundreds of students as a Learning Assistant and Teaching Assistant for courses like Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. Sai earned a 516 on his MCAT, including a 131 in the Chem/Phys section. He focuses on sharing strategies to help students master complex topics within this section.
